New Connections is global conference to discuss ways of achieving Sustainable Development Goal 5 on gender equality. Women's economic empowerment is a core part of this global agenda, and a key challenge is removing gender-based barriers to positions of leadership.
Unlocking the potential of women's leadership will make the world more prosperous, more sustainable and more just. To achieve this, the business community will have to make gender equality part of their own agenda.
