Christopher White talks about fighting sex trafficking through his web search program Memx at the 2015 TEDxOStateU event, April 10, 2015, on the Oklahoma State University campus.

In 2011 Christopher White joined the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) after earning an electrical engineering bachelor’s degree from OSU and a Ph.D. from The Johns Hopkins University. Christopher created DARPA’s big data program, XDATA, now part of President Obama’s Big Data Initiative. He created the domain-specific indexing and Web search program Memex, which is being used to counter human trafficking.
