Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., presided over an interfaith prayer service on Monday, November 14, 2016 in response to the deep divisions apparent in the country in the wake of the presidential election.
In a letter to the Notre Dame community, Fr. Jenkins asked all to gather "for peace in our nation, wisdom for our leaders and care for the most vulnerable.”
The service took place at 5:30 pm in front of the “Christ and the Samaritan Woman at Jacob’s Well” sculpture outside O’Shaughnessy Hall on the Notre Dame campus.
