Tineke Strik and Sea Watch urge European states to take action in the Mediterranean

Dutch Senator Tineke Strik invited Ruben Neugebauer, co-founder of the Sea-Watch NGO, to the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly to describe the situation on board the “Lifeline” vessel, currently at large off Malta with 233 rescued people on board. They both called on member states not to crimininalise NGO rescue activities in the Mediterranean.
