Mr Sachin Patwardhan, who's a disciple of Ustad Amjad Ali Khan Saheb plays an instrument which he self innovated and named as "Spanish Veena", a modified version of a western electric guitar. While he strums the instrument, Indian classical notes of Raga Hansadhwani emanate from its strings. Sachin Manohar Patwardhan, a versatile musician & composer (Sarod, Guitar & Mandolin artiste) from Indore.
He is disciple of the great Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan Sahab since 1999 and has composed/arranged many orchestras based on indian classical, western and light music. His USP is the Spanish Sitar which mesmerizes even the most mute minds. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
