This documentary film presents a project funded by the International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) and implemented by the Bactria Cultural Centre in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Thanks to the 85,000 USD made available by the IFCD in 2011-2012, Bactria helped strengthen and diversify the country’s music industry by training young and emerging musicians in production and management and giving them access to new technologies. Various young artists who benefitted from this training and the project managers share their experiences and offer their testimonies. The film highlights how the IFCD’s investment in the Tajik music industry has helped young talents develop and reinforce their professional skills.
