The corruption trial of Rosmah Mansor, the wife of former Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak, has finally begun. It was supposed to start on Feb 3, but was delayed when Rosmah's lawyers said she was unwell. She is charged with soliciting and receiving millions of dollars of bribe for a solar hybrid project in 2016. With an ambulance in tow, 68-year-old Rosmah arrived in Kuala Lumpur High Court clad in a green floral outfit. She appeared upbeat despite limping slightly as she was assisted into the courtroom. If convicted, Rosmah can be jailed up to 20 years or face a fine five times the bribe.
