Celebrations in Miami's Little Havana in the wake of Fidel Castro's death

Miami's Little Havana has erupted in celebrations at the news of Fidel Castro's death. Thousands of people took to the streets waving Cuban flags and chanted 'Cuba Libre'.

In the neighbourhood, populated by Cubans living in exile and their families, it is a day many people have been waiting for.

"I shouldn't be happy because a person has died, but he separated my family," said Maria from Little Havana. "My parents never got to see Cuba again. So today, I rejoice for this."
