Winter has been over for nearly a month, but it felt more like January than April on Sunday as the Chicago-area got walloped with almost six inches of snow. Temperatures dropped from the 50s into the 30s as a storm brought heavy snowfall to Chicago. Rates grew to two inches per hour in some places leading to a more then 1,000 flights cancelled. It's only the second time in history April has produced more snow than March and the previous December.
