Americans are among the most generous world citizens, yet many miss the mark. Carmin MacMillan shares her personal story on both sides of the giving equation – as the recipient and as the leader of a non-profit organization.

Follow Carmin as she lays out the blueprint for creating a nimble organization that can identify and address the real needs of the people it serves by finding inspiration in the most unlikely places – pay day lenders.

Carmin holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University in St. David’s, PA, and a Bachelor’s in Religious Education from Tyndale University College in Toronto, Canada. She has served as the Regional Program Manager for World Vision Canada, and with Canadian Baptist Ministries as Global Programs Manager.

As Executive Director of the Wesley Mission Center in Mansfield, TX, Carmin leads a team that serves to “empower people on their journey towards self-sufficiency & wholeness.” Carmin also currently serves as an adjunct professor at University of Texas at Arlington teaching classes in the Non Profit Management Certification program.
