Should traumatic experiences equal suffering and pain? In this thought provoking talk, Dan Glass challenges the conventional views around trauma and shares his journey channelling trauma as a transformative force for good. He draws on inspiration to show what a different approach to trauma should be in order to make change. Dan is an award-winning activist, academic, performer & writer who was named as one of Attitude Magazine’s campaigning role models for LGBTQI youth + a Guardian ‘UK youth climate leader’. His recent programmes involve MC'ing 'Shafted?!' a speakeasy led by people with HIV, the 'Never Again Ever! Beyond UKIP Cabaret in Nigel Farage's boozer and recently founding ‘Queer Tours of London - A Mince Through Time’.
