Every 2 minutes, someone in the United States dies of septicemia, known commonly as sepsis or septic shock. But what is sepsis and can it be treated?

Sepsis is a blood infection. If caught early, a sepsis infection is highly treatable. With 80 percent of sepsis cases beginning at home, it's important to know sepsis symptoms so that you can act quickly for yourself or your loved ones.
