We are all aware of how the brain is essential for the normal functioning of the human body. However, are we aware that we have to use our brain? That we have to think about our brain?
Nikolina is the first and currently the only woman neurosurgeon in Croatia. She received most of her education in Zagreb, and a part of it in Northern Italy and France. When she was in school she would cry if she didn't get an A and now she cries when children die from brain tumors. She fluently speaks several foreign languages and she actively participates in neurosurgical associations in Croatia and Europe. She is happily married to an engineer Vedran.
